Pavement Licence Relaxations & TEN increase

At the IOL Conference last week, Government Officials confirmed that a consultation was planned for early 2023 for both retaining the Off-Sale relaxations currently enjoyed as part of the Covid Pavement Licence changes and the current increase to TENs (increased to 20 Events Across 26 days).

It is expected that both relaxations may be made permanent subject to the outcome of the consultation.

What form a permanent relaxation of the off-sale relaxation will take, is likely to be the more controversial element of the consultation.
